I still get residual checks for my work in Blue Bloods and Step Up 3. My last two checks were $1.03 and $5.10, respectively. I feel like a real actor.
37?!
I've been trying to plan my birthday celebration but unfortunately, everything I want to do does not involve kids. Toddler's birthday is 2 days after mine so I'm pretty sure my ideas are useless.
The Voice.
I had a voiceover audition for the Nickelodeon show, "Bubble Guppies." They wanted me to play 2 Chinese acrobatic twins named Ming and Ping. Hmm, I wonder if they want me to put a Chinese accent on that? They also had me read for the role of the Announcer. I wonder if my experience as an Announcer in "Step Up 3D" will help?
This was an easy audition because instead of lugging the kids to the city, I got to record in at home and email it.
After that really hot day last week I installed my air conditioners. The weather has cooled off ever since so I almost feel like the weather gods are messing with me.
Summer Rental.
We rented a car and my favorite part was opting out of their insurance fee (because the credit card covers you). As we were leaving Brooklyn, the highway left us a souvenir of white gook all over the car making it look like Birdpoopsville. I was parked in my car and families would point at the car and laugh. I wanted to scream, "It's not poop!" but I guess that would look weird.
They gave us a Chrysler 200. I was angry that the car didn't have a name (just a number?) I got angrier when I saw a Chrysler 300 ("This is Chrysler!" in a Spartan voice).
when you find out they are coming out with another Step Up movie and they didn't even call!
Closer...
Why is it the "in thing" for people my age to run marathons? Wouldn't you rather be sleeping?
